Andrew joined Feilden Fowles in 2019. He leads the practice’s project at Hughes Hall, an educational scheme for the largest postgraduate College in Cambridge. The project will deliver high-quality teaching spaces, social spaces and student bedrooms within a rejuvenated landscape adjacent to the historic Fenner’s Cricket Ground and the Grade II listed Margaret Wileman Building. He also led the practices competition for MHKA Gallery in Antwerp.

Andrew has a wide range of experience, having previously worked at Henley Halebrown, where he delivered Stirling Prize-nominated projects Hackney New Primary School and Chadwick Hall. He is also an External Examiner at the University of Westminster for Part 3 students’ final qualifications.

Charlotte joined Feilden Fowles in 2022 and as part of the Management Team, holds a number of roles across the practice including Human Resources, Finance and Studio Team lead. Prior to this, Charlotte was the Finance & HR Director for a unique London hospitality offering and has over 10 years’ experience of working with creative businesses.

Charlotte has a first-class honours degree in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University and is inherently passionate about all forms of art and design. She is an ambassador for the Architects Benevolent Society and an alumni mentor for fledgling graduates of Nottingham Trent University, providing one on one support as they enter the creative industries. When she’s not in the studio, Charlotte is often found swimming at her local lido, foraging for courgettes in her vegetable patch or hunting out the nearest craft beer pub.

Donghyen joined Feilden Fowles in 2025 after graduating from the Architectural Association. He is currently working on a cultural project on the outskirts of London. His academic work has explored community, public engagement, and the spatial experience of thresholds. He investigated collaborative architectures that foster collective ways of life and considered how transitional spaces can reshape the relationship between cultural institutions and the public.
Before studying in the UK, he graduated in Interior Architecture in South Korea and gained experience through internships at several practices. He has also been recognised in several architectural competitions. His approach is grounded in a poetic sensitivity to space, an awareness of collective memory, and the crafted making of architecture.
Outside of architecture, he enjoys racket sports, particularly tennis and badminton.

Edmund has delivered a range of award-winning projects, including the Natural History Museum’s flagship Urban Nature Project, the new dining hall for Homerton College, Cambridge and the practice’s own Waterloo studio. He takes a leading role in major education and cultural projects, including the estate transformation project at Mansfield College, Oxford; new accommodation and porters lodge at Hughes Hall, Cambridge; and the forthcoming Clore Garden and learning space at Tate Britain.

An external examiner at the Architectural Association, where he studied after graduating from the University of Cambridge, Edmund has taught and lectured across the UK and Europe, including at RIBA, the University of Cambridge, and London Metropolitan University, where he led a Design Unit on education design. Edmund is a keen cyclist, and champions the practice’s low-tech approach.

Eleanor has a wealth of experience working for institutional clients, delivering buildings that complement their organisational aspirations and ethics. She oversaw the practice’s award-winning dining hall for Homerton College, Cambridge, from competition to completion, and the project received widespread press acclaim and recognition in RIBA National, Civic Trust and Wood Awards. Eleanor is currently leading the team on the Estate Transformation Project at Mansfield College, Oxford, delivering 174 study bedrooms, a new Porters’ Lodge gatehouse and facilities for the University’s most diverse college. Since joining Feilden Fowles in 2014, she has delivered community projects for the practice including the design and construction of Waterloo City Farm and was instrumental in developing the Urban Nature Project for the Natural History Museum. As part of the associate team, Eleanor currently manages Feilden Fowles’ new business and outreach initiatives.

Prior to working at Feilden Fowles Eleanor worked at DK-CM, and was a founding member of the Turner Prize winning architecture collective Assemble. Eleanor studied architecture at Cambridge and UCL with drawings from her MArch thesis selected for exhibition in the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition. She has been a guest critic and lecturer at a number of schools including the Architectural Association and Royal College of Art, and is an enthusiastic about supporting greater access to the profession.

Ellie joined Feilden Fowles in 2025, having previously worked in London and Australia, where she gained experience across a broad range of projects.

She completed her undergraduate degree at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, graduating with First-Class Honours, before going on to study her masters at the London School of Architecture, graduating in 2023 with Distinction. Her masters design thesis was subsequently awarded the RIBA President’s Silver Medal. The project proposed housing and urban design for people living with Alzheimer’s disease, exploring the deterioration of complex spatial understanding and advocating for an architecture shaped by interdisciplinary research to support dignity, care and social connection.

At Feilden Fowles, she is part of the team delivering a countryside hotel in Rutland, contributing to the design as it develops from early concept through to detailed design stages.

Fabrizio joined Feilden Fowles in early 2025 to oversee the delivery of the Nature + Love project for the Horniman Museum and Gardens in South London.

Fabrizio graduated with distinction in Rome and moved to London in 2013. During this period, he had the opportunity to work with emerging creative practices as well as leading international firms, gaining expertise in the design, communication and delivery of complex building structures. Prior to joining Feilden Fowles, he spent four years at Hopkins Architects, playing a key role in the delivery of a major office and retail development in the City of London. More recently, he worked as an associate at Carter Gregson Gray, contributing to a variety of cultural and community projects within the growing practice. Beyond architecture, Fabrizio enjoys travelling and is passionate about sports like basketball, surfing and running.

Fergus is driven by a passion for leading teams to deliver ambitious, complex projects, often rooted in sensitive landscapes. His approach is collaborative and rigorous, guided by a strong belief that social and environmental conditions should shape both the design process and its material outcomes, creating architecture that is humane, grounded, and enduring. He works with clients across the UK, including the National Trust, the Science Museum Group, and the Horniman Museum. His portfolio spans education, cultural, strategic, hospitality and heritage sectors, with current commissions including the redevelopment of Central Hall at the National Railway Museum in York and Black Robin Farm, a new gallery and arts centre in the South Downs National Park.

Fergus lectures regularly on the practice’s work and contributes to conferences across the UK. He has chaired RIBA Awards panels, is a Visiting Professor at the University of Sheffield and a Design Council Built Environment Expert. Outside of practice, he spends time in the natural world and enjoys pottery, joinery, running, and cycling.

Finian joined Feilden Fowles in 2022 and has played key a role across several projects in the studio, most recently working on Hughes Hall College, Cambridge.

Following his undergraduate studies in Manchester he completed his master’s at Kingston, graduating in 2021 with a distinction. His thesis project was awarded a commendation in the RIBA Silver Medal and nominated for the AJ student prize. The project was informed by post-colonial Nigerian fiction and looked to establish a new school of art in the city of Enugu, drawing from both historic and contemporary west African building typologies to create the conditions for a new form of cultural reproduction in the south-eastern Nigerian city.

Prior to joining Feilden Fowles Finian worked at award-winning practices in London and Manchester, contributing to a range of cultural and regeneration projects.

Forrest joined Feilden Fowles in 2025 having previously worked in award winning offices on projects across the UK, East Africa, and Europe. Currently in his final placement year at the Bartlett, his academic work explores how unused stretches of land, often adjacent to existing urban infrastructure, can be activated to engender resilience and communal gathering. His work was awarded the Bartlett Medal for two consecutive years, as well as a RIBA Bronze Medal Nomination. Apart from architecture, Forrest frequently works with designers and artists to assist in the making and production of sculptures and objects.

Forrest is currently leading the studio’s expansion into a new space and coordinating the move of Waterloo City Farm from its former site to its permanent home in Tulse Hill. A research project is being conducted alongside this move, feeding back into the practice and informing the future move of Feilden Fowles’ own demountable studio. Outside of the office, Forrest will most likely be on a bike, on the pottery wheel, or in the kitchen.

Francesca joined the studio team at Feilden Fowles in 2022, bringing her previous architecture and administration experience from small firms in Oxford and London. She now works across several pillars of the business, including Marketing & PR and Finance, working closely with Charlotte and the Directors and supporting the team through the day-to-day.

Outside of work, Francesca enjoys swimming, baking and crafts. She loves to spend time with our four legged studio friends – whether visiting dogs or the resident goats, pigs and sheep next door at Oasis Farm Waterloo!

Frankie joined Feilden Fowles in 2023 and is a key part of the team working on an estate development strategy for Mansfield College, Oxford.

Previously, Frankie spent three years at FCB Studios in Bath working on several higher education projects including the technical design of Stephen Taylor Court, a Passivhaus residential project for graduates and fellows at King’s College, Cambridge.

Frankie completed his masters at the University of Bath, graduating with first class honours. His thesis project involved a research trip to India and investigated how Rajasthani vernacular, historic building typologies and traditional construction techniques could be reinterpreted and translated for a contemporary setting.

Hope joined the team as Studio Assistant in 2025 after graduating with First Class Honours in an Integrated Masters in Liberal Arts from the University of Bristol. She completed her Bachelors studies at University College Utrecht in the Netherlands, specialising in Art History and Cultural Heritage studies, before returning to Bristol to gain her Masters, with her final thesis exploring curatorial and architectural solutions to contended Dutch colonial heritage sites. Alongside her Masters, she also co-curated and edited an exhibition at the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol.

Hope is naturally passionate about design and history, and outside of work loves to travel, exploring new languages and cultures. She is often on the hunt for new active and creative endeavours, from taking up padel to block printing! She is also passionate about creative approaches to health and wellbeing, and volunteers for the NHS.

Izzy joined Feilden Fowles in June 2025 and is part of the team working on a student residential scheme at the University of Cambridge.

She completed her Master’s at the RCA, where she was awarded the Technical Studies Prize and nominated for the RIBA London West Award, and prior to this, studied at the University of Cambridge, graduating with First Class Honours in 2019.

Izzy has previously worked at TYPE Studio and Tuckey Design Studio in London, gaining experience on a wide range of residential and commercial projects, often in sensitive historical environments.

She is passionate about preserving historic fabric, bioclimatic construction and enhancing local ecology and biodiversity, through careful, considered design.

Outside of work, Izzy enjoys painting, running, cycling and cold water swimming.

Jack studied Architectural Technology at Nottingham Trent University graduating with a 1st Class degree and is an accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists. Jack has gained a wide range of experience in the industry, having worked on various projects at different scales such as infrastructure schemes for Crossrail and Thames Tideway, and large-scale residential developments. At Feilden Fowles Jack provides project-specific BIM support across all studio projects, while working to improve company wide workflows. Jack is currently part of the Mansfield College Team, leading Model Coordination Workshops and helping the team design in a holistic, integrated way. Jack is passionate about improving team collaboration and workflow efficiency using BIM whilst helping clients further engage with their projects in the pre-construction phases. Outside of work Jack enjoys being creative with food recipes and exploring the outdoors through new hikes.

James joined Feilden Fowles having completed his studies in Dublin, Delft, and Zurich. His graduation project saw him work with the National Health Service to establish a tactile attitude to existing buildings, prioritising the legibility of public architecture through rigorous design.
Before joining Feilden Fowles James worked at award-winning practices in Dublin and London, contributing to cultural and education projects and developing skills he hopes to apply to an architecture that’s material, social, and sustainable.
At work and beyond James is a keen maker, motivated by an engaged view on construction. He takes an enthusiastic role in the office’s model making, and enjoys staying active and outdoors where he can.

Lynus joined Feilden Fowles in 2025. He completed his Master’s at the Architectural Association, graduating with commendation. His thesis addressed land rights in the Philippines’ Cordillera region, where indigenous communities face systemic encroachment from large-scale mining. By reinterpreting rice terracing as hydro-cultural infrastructure, he developed hybridised retaining wall technologies as a form of collective resistance across ancestral territories.
He studied at the University of Sheffield for his undergraduate degree, receiving First Class Honours and was awarded the Dr Brian Wragg Prize for Architectural Draughtsmanship. He then gained experience on residential and community-led projects in Hong Kong. Outside the studio, Lynus enjoys oil painting and is a Scholar of the Royal Society of British Artists.

Maelys joined Feilden Fowles in 2019 and was a key member of the team delivering the award-winning Urban Nature Project at the Natural History Museum. She is currently running the Central Hall project for the National Railway Museum in York, now on site, alongside Studley Revealed, a new visitor centre within the historic UNESCO site of Fountains Abbey. Maelys delivered Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses, transforming an underused space into a community and education resource for the South London Community. Currently, she is overseeing a number of arts and culture projects across the practice, including work focused on botanic, learning and visitor environments.

Prior to this, she worked in Paris on public and cultural projects, including at AWP and NP2F. Her dissertation on sustainability and ecology was selected for the RIBA Dissertation Medal. She has also taught at the Bartlett and given talks at the University of Edinburgh.

Mari joined Feilden Fowles in 2025 and is currently working on Central Hall for the National Railway Museum in York. She completed her Master of Architecture at the University of Edinburgh in 2024, graduating top of her class. Her thesis explored traditional Scottish material industries and was exhibited and awarded the Royal Scottish Academy New Contemporaries Gold Medal for Architecture.

Prior to joining Feilden and Fowles, she worked in Edinburgh where, alongside practice, she contributed to the architecture course at the University of Edinburgh as a guest critic and as part-time teaching support. Mari maintains an active interest in writing and exhibition work and has contributed to the RIAS Quarterly, as well as magazines and journals in the UK and abroad.

Matt has 20 years of experience delivering successful schemes across the cultural, residential, commercial and higher education sectors. He was the Project Architect for the Urban Nature Project at the Natural History Museum which has transformed the museum’s five-acre gardens, introducing new landscaping, a learning centre and a cafe. Matt also ran the new Dining Hall for Homerton College whilst the project was on site, and is currently leading the scheme at Central Hall, York for the National Railway Museum. As part of the associate team at Feilden Fowles, Matt is also responsible for managing resourcing and fees, as well as developing the practice approach to low carbon and sustainable design.

He previously spent 5 years at Niall McLaughlin Architects, where he was Project Architect for a number of schemes including Hampshire House, which won a RIBA National Award in 2019. He also worked on the Stirling Prize winning library for Magdalene College in Cambridge, a song school for Trinity Hall in Cambridge and an International Rugby Museum in Limerick, Ireland. Matt graduated from Newcastle University with a first class honours degree and was awarded the Napper Memorial Prize for the highest design mark of the year.

Nick has twenty five years’ experience working in architectural practices in the UK and Hong Kong. For over ten years he was an Associate Director at David Chipperfield’s office in London, leading a series of high profile projects including the Hepworth Wakefield in West Yorkshire and Turner Contemporary in Margate, as well as realising the transformational masterplan for the Royal Academy, linking their home on Piccadilly to the former Museum of Mankind on Burlington Gardens. Alongside establishing his own practice in 2017, Nick was a consultant to Witherford Watson Mann architects for four years, delivering the major refurbishment of the Courtauld Institute of Art in the Grade I listed Somerset House, completed in 2021. He has lectured at architectural schools across the UK and is currently an examiner for Part 3 professional studies at the Architectural Association. Nick joined Feilden Fowles’ team in 2024 and is currently working on Mansfield College in Oxford.

Oliver joined Feilden Fowles in July 2024, bringing a strong academic background and experience from a range of sectors and practices. He completed his undergraduate and master’s degree at the University of Bath, graduating with first-class honours. His thesis explored how architecture can serve as a framework to address global biodiversity decline, focusing on promoting better ecology within urban environments. This work was nominated for both the RIBA Silver Medal and the RIBA Dissertation Medal, and he was awarded the Foster + Partners Student Research Award.

Since joining Feilden Fowles, Oliver has worked on several projects, most recently working with the Mansfield College team. Outside of architecture, Oliver is a keen baker and enjoys reading— recently setting up and running the Feilden Fowles book club.

Ruggero joined Feilden Fowles in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous roles at other award-winning practices. His expertise spans various sectors, with a particular focus on cultural projects in sensitive historical settings and a commitment to sustainability. At Feilden Fowles, Ruggero is currently leading the delivery of Black Robin Farm, a cultural and educational centre in the South Downs National Park.

Previously, Ruggero spent three years at Stanton Williams, playing a key role in the team transforming a derelict Victorian market into the new Museum of London. More recently, at Asif Khan he led the technical design of the Canning Dock regeneration project in Liverpool, while at Carmody Groarke he was project architect for a complex Victorian building retrofit in the City of London. Ruggero graduated with distinction from Politecnico di Milano and Tongji University with a thesis on the sustainable regeneration of a historic water town in China. Passionate about music and art, Ruggero also enjoys outdoor sports like climbing, hiking, and skiing.
